About Tire Size VS

Tire Size VS compares tire sizes from the size code alone: diameter, width, sidewall, circumference and revolutions, what a speedometer reads after a size change, and how ground clearance moves at the axle. It covers the geometry only. Whether a size suits a particular vehicle is a question for a tire shop.

Who builds it

Built and maintained by David Owen, Adelaide. The calculations are checked against figures that tire retailers and calculators publish, and against makers' own size tables, by tests that must pass before any change goes live. The methodology page lists every source.

Who publishes it

Tire Size VS is published by Cactus & Cubby Marketplace (ABN 28 316 231 089). It is independent: no tire maker or retailer pays to be included or ranked.
